I have more recently gave the Traditional Beams logo a refresh. This new adaptation gives a clearer impact of what the company offers with the use of image and gives it a more personal impression. The idea that the team at Traditional Beams are craftsmen with the ability to make a product with love and care and really enhance the beauty of nature!
Heritage Resin Surfaces is a subsidiary of Heritage Developments. It was important that the brand could easily be adapted to other sides of the company in the future.
The typeface choice adds a professional feel and makes the company look reliable. The brand is effective at emphasising their time in the business, their professional manner and the good quality product that they are providing. Gold foil on a lovely quality paper stock is used to give a superior feel.

This project looks at Germantown Avenue, an 8 and a half mile street in Philadelphia, America and how it starts with well to do people and rapidly changes the further down the street you travel. This is compared to an 8 and a half mile distance in the North East of England from Wynyard to Hartlepool through interesting typographic detail and structure. To see more visit my Behance.
A publication in response to the ISTD brief “Everything about one thing’, focusing on the sufferers expression of feelings and supported by grounded medical research. Care By Innovation is a company that offers professional and accredited medical training for Phlebotomy and Clinical Skills. My task was to create a brand for the company including a logo design, letterhead, business card and leaflet.
When creating these designs I took some and colours and styles
associated with the NHS so people would make that instant connection with the medical industry when seeing the overall brand. It had to be instantly recognisable as a professional medical company!

Kamado began its journey as an experimental typeface with a cultural essence. Influenced by type around the globe during my studies. The result… a plausible and exciting typeface!
The rhythm of each letter is fundamental to the design, each exploring and exaggerating the way it can be drawn with continuous strokes… full of character.
Kamado has a very distinctive look, which would give a clear awareness of a brand. Kamado works great in many type settings. Its variety of weights provides a range of choices that will help you find the best typographic effect for your project. Rosina is a geometric typeface with a distinctive charm.
With a captivating fusion of dashing 1920s style and 21st Century sensibility, geometric forms have been taken and optically adjusted to create a sturdy typeface.
Tall ascenders and descenders attempt to simulate architectural features of the Art Deco period, striving for a look of the future, nevertheless form always follows function.
Rosina explores typographic boundaries and lends itself well to branding, posters and other display uses.

Makozin is a humanist typeface with a stylish appearance. Designed with a more fluid approach, makozin has more movement and curvature within stems, an angled stress and visible modulation. Together these features give a strong presence of the hand providing a comfortable read.
Makozin's aesthetic dimensions both serve and enhance the design, making it the perfect tool for communicating in magazines; both in their print and online form, with attention grabbing headlines and easy to read body copy that follows. Kandin is a modern geometric sans inspired by Scandinavian interiors. Being one of the most static and clinical of all classifications, Kandin successfully brings its playfulness in a subtle manner, keeping its minimalist, restrained, supremely peaceful feel.
